Studio Neko-Neko is a fantasy art studio at heart with family values. We will draw basic cartoon nudity (i.e. Bugs Bunny), artistic/tasteful nudes and classy pin-ups, but no adult subjects/content. No commission above a PG-13 rating will be accepted. |
|
We try to complete our commissions based on the order they arrive in. Some exceptions to this are rush orders, which are bumped to the head of the line. Of course, a rush order costs more than a regular commission, so remember this when requesting a rush order. |
|
Completion times on commissions vary. Many simple commissions, like badges and small artworks can be completed in a few days. Larger commissions take longer, sometimes several months, based on their complexity. |

Character references are extremely important for an artist. If you’ve ever seen any behind-the-scenes film/books from major animation studios, you’ve seen that for each character of an animated film, there are reference sheets provided to the artists. These sheets show the character from multiple angles so that an artist can see all aspects of a character’s design in order to draw it properly. We offer character sheets as part of our services so that our clients can have a solid concept of their characters to provide as reference to other artists and costume designers. Many of our character reference sheets have gone on to become designs for full body costumes. |

Unfortunately, because we run our studio full time, we don’t have time to take requests for artwork that are not paid commissions. We welcome you to order a commission if you have something you’d like to see us draw, and that way, you get to keep the artwork! Art trades are something we wish we had time for. The studio work keeps us very busy, so what little free time we have is spent with family and friends. If by chance we’re interested in an art trade, we will seek out the particular artist we wish to trade with ourselves. |

Here at Studio Neko-Neko, we draw our inspiration from many sources. We’re lovers of animation, mostly the works of Walt Disney and Hayao Miyazaki. We’re also fans of Pixar, though we prefer the more traditional 2D animation styles. Our love of puppetry comes from watching the talented Jim Henson and the Muppets from the time we were very small. Artwork and films from these talented folks adorn our walls and movie shelves throughout our home. Around our studio, artwork ideas and inspiration come from many sources. We have our pets, who never cease to be amusing in their antics, our friends who come up with the silliest concepts, and our young nephew, whose imagination knows no bounds. |

It’s a compliment when someone wants to use our artwork for these purposes, but because we live off our studio profits, we frown on the use of our artwork for icons, tags, etc. Unless you’ve purchased a commission from us, we ask that you please do not repost/redistribute our artwork on the web. If we find our artwork posted online outside our authorized galleries, we will ask that it be taken down. Please respect our work and link back to our webpage if you want to share it with your friends. Please see our studio policy page for more info. |
