The Candy Skunk Corps!

Who are we? The Candy Skunk Corps is a group of fursuiters with candy-themed skunk characters of various colors. We gather at conventions across the country to meet, play, entertain, and cause all sorts of sweet-scented chaos.

How did we come up with this craziness? The concept started when AnimeCat came up with the concept for her newest fursuit- a pink and white skunk called Sweettart. When she announced this would be her next project, others like Diadexxus and Quasi Skunk came forward with their own ideas for oddly-colored skunks. Then, at Furry Weekend Atlanta 2006, she mentioned the idea to a group of friends and fursuiters, which quickly blossomed into a candy-themed collection of colorful creatures as fursuiters jumped on the candy bandwagon! With names like Godiva, Starburst, Spree, and Butterfinger, who could resist these cuddly, sweet, and cavity-inducing furries?

Can I join the Candy Skunk Corps? By all means, please do! All you need is a fursuit character based on an existing candy! Your imagination is your key. To aid you in your creation, here is a list of the existing characters, their color themes, and who owns them, as well as a list of possible candy brands and colors to give you a jump start! Have fun with it! Once you’ve come up with a character, send us an e-mail and tell us all about it! But remember: please keep your creation “G” rated. We’re a family-friendly group here.
